Could the LAA-Vetevendosje coalition be possible? This is Naser Rugova

Since the June 11th elections have continued statements by numerous political party officials on who will handle Government and who will have the next four-year mandate. Speculations of a coalition between the Democratic League of Kosovo, the New Kosovo Alliance, the Alternative and the Vetevendosje Movement speak of an agreement between these political subjects that they make government and share the mandate for two years. The prime minister for the first two years meets Albin Kurti and the other two Avdullah Hoti, or vice versa.
In this regard, LDK re-elected deputy Naser Rugova has told of “Index” that it's not in the LDK tradition to make this kind of combination. According to him, the LDK will not accept inferior position in any political combination.
There may be many political combinations in politics, but it is not in the tradition and logic of LDK this kind of political proposal. I believe the LDK will always be the main factor in the very challenging future processes awaiting the country. The country's governance by the LDK is now witnessed as the best post-war. I think and firmly believe that the LDK will not accept inferior position in any political combination”, he said.
Although there have been statements by LDK officials for variants on how to join the LDK and Vetevendosje, for Rugova they are quite unrealistic. This, since according to Rugova, has no official version of the LDK, so statements before party decisions are not serious.
“The LDK is an institutionalist party with greater experience in political processes. The party's decision-making bodies have not been collected yet, because official results from the CEC were published today. I believe in the following days the competent party bodies will gather together with the new parliamentary group and deal with the official LDK position, which I am very convinced will be in the interest of the country and the LDK membership. I firmly believe that we will remain loyal to the will of our electorate. All statements in the media before party forum decisions do not take them seriously and consider them unrealistic”, it has been expressed for “Indexline”
Otherwise, final results have been published today in which the coalition PDK-AAK-Nisma has collected 39 seats, Vetevendosje 32 and LAA 29.
In this regard, Rugova has said the LDK has expected better results.
I consider that the LAA coalition had a very concrete, pragmatic, feasible and more serious ruling bid for the country's perspective, as well as a list of best professional candidates. Personally but also as the LDK we have expected better results, but this was the will of the citizens and we respect that will”, he has declared.
