The German “Bundestagu along with the Berlin Free University, the Lost University in Berlin and the Berlin Technical University provide about 120 scholarships each year for young graduates from 41 countries. The program lasts from March 1 to July 31st each year.
The programme is conducted under the auspices of the President of Bundestag. Meanwhile, the aim of these exchanges is to promote relations between Germany and the participating countries, to strengthen democratic values and tolerance, to deepen understanding and cultural diversity, as well as to ensure peaceful co-existence in the world”, the German Embassy reported.
Candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of 450 euros. Also covered are health insurance costs, insurance in case of accident, administrative fees, and social contributions.
In addition, free housing is provided or in the case of private accommodation ) a 300-$/U-month amount is provided. The cost of coming and leaving Berlin will be repaid”, the announcement says, underscoring that applications will be open until June 30th 2017.
