The families of six Albanians sentenced to life in prison for the murder of five Macedonians in Smilkovce in Skopje -- otherwise known as the “Monstra” -- say they are desperate by the Special Prosecutor, who at the end of the deadline for submitting indictments for various abuses, No investigation into this event even which continues to be current in place.

From the council of family members of convicted persons, they say that now two and a half years have held to hope that, however, this institution will make the truth clear that it is not their relatives' fingers in this murder, but that it is an occasion set up, Who he talked about and current Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who has also published the wiretap.

Zaev had on several occasions said that from the conversations he has heard from the material provided by truth is different from what has been presented in the opinion, alluding that true Macedonian killers are quite other people.

Everything has definitely lost its logic. So far we have kept in hope that the special prosecutor will deal with the most serious cases, but this did not happen”, says Bedri Hajdari, head of the family council at random “Monstra”.

We will continue the battle, whenever, one day, either positively or negatively, get an answer. We believe Macedonia is not the end of the world, as there are other countries where we will seek justice”, Bedri Hajdari points out.

By the Special Prosecutor, on Wednesday they said that no investigation has been launched, since the other relevant institutions have not responded to her calls for this case to be passed into Special Capacity. But, from the Constitutional Prosecutor of Skopje, they have said that the Special Prosecutor has never filed such a request. The same has been said by the Council of Prosecutors of Macedonia.

Special Prosecution has expressed dissatisfaction with legal experts. They suspect this institution has acted selectively, not just in case “Monstra”, but also against DUI officials, who have been spared from investigations or charges, in addition to the two persons from about 100 who have faced criminal charges.

For this, Naser Zyberi, the renowned lawyer also blames Zoran Zaev's LSDM.

“The LSDM in the wiretapping phase, as much as it published, did not provide any wiretaps in which the implications of DUI representatives would appear to be involved in possible misappropriations”, Zyber says.

The other element that creates this impression is the fact that DUI continues to be a part of power, and the belief among citizens is that the one in power is hard to put to account”, he points out.

That the Special Prosecutor was more in office of the current ruling parties, according to him, speaks also of the fact that Zaev had addressed the Special with a letter referring to the purity of his government's proposed members.

I think it was the wrong step of the prime minister as well, but the Special Prosecutor. Presenting Zaev's request and quick response from the Prosecutor's Office was wrong, because itself by the Special Prosecutor say only 20 per cent of the proposals so far have been processed and heard”.

The question from this question is that from the Prosecution's courage to answer that none of the Government members are under investigation, when even 80 percent of the wiretapping has not been heard and we don't know what will come out of them”, Zyber says.

The Special Prosecutor on Wednesday filed charges against 94 different personalities, among whom are former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, former Interior Minister Gordana Jankulovska, former transport and culture ministers Mile Janakievski and Elizabeta Kancevska, chairman of the country. DPA, Menduh Thaci, two DUI officials, as well as dozens of other former officials. All of them are accused of abuse of office, election fraud, tenders and other criminal acts punishable under Macedonia's penal code.
