Kosovo Parliament Secretary Ismet Krasniqi, through e-mail, has told of a call.com that there are 14 MPs who have realised their income only on May 10th, because the same have realised revenues from other institutions.
“14 deputies of the Fifth Legislate, in the month of May 2017, have realised income only until May 10th 2017, since they have implemented the same revenues in other institutions. The total wage amount for May and compensation for April and May 2017 (by the date of the breakup of the Parliament) has been at the sum of 250,013.07m net”, the Kosovo Assembly's response reported.
While May's wages have been at 2 thousand and 938 euros and 76 cents.
Article 14 of the Law on Rights and responsibilities of the MP specifys that the MP after the end of the term will receive the transitional wage, which means the MP will receive the salary for another 12 months.
Kosovo's Parliament Secretary has indicated that more than 155 thousand euros have been spent in June for the deputies of the Assembly, distributed 10 May.
“106 deputies of the fifth legislature have realised the month's revenue June 2017. Salaries for June 2017 are in many of the 155,390.91m net”, the Secretary of the Assembly has said.
That is, Kosovo's budget has spent 1,465 euros on a former delegation.
All former deputies who will not be re-elected or who will not work at any public institution will continue to receive the monthly salary of 1,000 and 465 euros for 12 months in a row.
Former delegations during June have not received hires from the Kosovo Assembly.
