Nishani also ruled out the possibility of creating a political party.
“I am invested in politics, but I have no platform, no ideas, no intention to return party chairman or to become party chairman or to create a political party”, Nishani said on the “show against”.
Even if Bujar Nishani aimed at Lulzim Basha's chair in the Democratic Party, it would virtually be impossible, as he has set the date for the presidential election on July 22nd, as Nishani leaves the presidency on 24th.
Bujar Nishani cannot run for party chairmanship as long as she holds the post of head of state, despite only two days' separation from elections in the DP.
