Central Election Commission Chairman Valdete Daka said the election process went smoothly and took place in the democratic spirit.
On the basis of the final result, President Daka has confirmed that the coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative Party, has won 39 seats in the country, the Vetevendosje Movement has won 32 seats, while in third is the coalition of the Democratic League of Kosovo with the New Kosovo Alliance and the 29-seat Alternative.
Of the minority communities, the Serb List, which has won 9 seats, has taken a seat from the Independent Libera Party. Likewise, non-Serb communities have been divided into 10 guaranteed seats.
In Kosovo's general parliamentary elections, voting rights have had more than 1 million and 800 thousand inhabitants, out of whom there were over 747 thousand voters or 41.30 percent of turnout at the polls.
According to the Central Election Commission, over 50,000 is the number of invalid ballots.
The early June 11th parliamentary elections have established the future composition of the Kosovo Assembly, which has 120 seats.
Under the Constitution, the Kosovo Assembly is elected by a four-year term, starting on the day of the constitutional hearing, held within thirty days of the official announcement of election results.
Analyst from the Kosovo Democratic Institute, Albert Krasniqi, says the Assembly is considered constitutional after holding the first session in which the verification of MPs' mandates, the election of the Speaker of the Assembly, and five deputy speakers is made.
On the basis of the election outcome, only the coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative can propose the Speaker of the Parliament, Krasniqi says.
After the constitution is introduced, the Government's selection procedure begins, Krasniqi says.
After the Parliament's restoration, it's the government's choice. The president must first grant the coalition rights PAN, as the first coalition to propose the candidate for prime minister, which the candidate represents the composition of the government before MPs and MPs should vote by at least 50 plus 1 per cent (61 per cent of MPs) so that the government can be called elected”, Krasniqi said.
The government's choice can also be passed to the second circle if the first attempt is to secure support in the Assembly.
Albert Krasniqi says the second time, it remains in the president's discretion to decide whom I will give the mandate.
The second <x0HHER is in the president's discretion, since it is not limited to giving the mandate to the second or third party, but depending on the political subject that proves to the president that it has the necessary number of votes to elect Government, so that early elections” can be avoided, Krasniqi said.
If not the second time the government is elected, then Kosovo's president announces the new early elections, which should be held no later than 40 (40) days from the day of their proclamation.
