Albania's first-time reaction following Rama's statement

The road to recovery goes through unity and not through division and expulsion!

Dear friends,

The result of these elections is far from what we all wanted and waited for. Without a question that drugs, crime, the participation of administration in defiance of the law, the enormous inequality in the media clearly influenced their outcome and made these choices not free and fair as the Albanians deserved.

All of these proved once again that Edi Rama is an enemy of the Albanian vote. But despite the pressures, the crime, the anti-law and the money of Norieges, the reasons and responsibility for this profound loss of the DP, both for its outcome and its background in accordance with the best practices of Western democracies, we have to ask for them and find them absolutely in ourselves. Otherwise, we have an uncertain future!

These days in the media has triggered a natural controversy about our loss in this election and its causes. Leading, but ordinary members of the PD have demanded the chairman's resignation, which is obviously the most responsible but of course not only for this loss.

On the other hand, the DP chairman has recognised his main personal responsibility for this loss. The party's charter envisions opening the process of electing the party chairman, and the latter has stated that it will freeze its positions as party chairman for the time of the chairmanial election process, not to influence the process.

I think the best way to list the causes, to determine the responsibility of the loss, is to give voice and opportunity to all the structures and membership of the PD to say their free and responsible words in the analysis and the profound change that it takes to get out of and rebuild the Democratic Party again.

It is imperative to understand why the ballot boxes lacked the vote of 200 thousand citizens who voted. DPs in past elections and why after four years, we not only remain optimistic, but we get this result.

I think that we, in these circumstances, despite emotions, irreverent opposition to situations like this, crucially matter is that the DP has defeated all its members in a fair, fair, equal and unconventional process to choose the leadership they think about and judge that it can lead them as a powerful opposition to victory, as quickly as the minds and hearts of the Albanians.

I think it's the legal and moral obligation of every member or leader of the DP to contribute to integrity, transparency, the credibility of this process in the full play of democratic values and rules that we share with each other!

The road to recovery is never easy, it goes through UNKIM, not through. P EARNING not even RELIGION.

But I have the deepest conviction that we have the iron will, that we can bring together the full success of the strength of the Democratic Party that we look forward to today's ants, our supporters, the Albanian right hand and our friends all over Europe and the world.

So I invite you dear friends, by expressing an unrefining gratitude and gratitude to all those who voted the DP, let's engage in all our energy on this vital mission to the DP, to Albania and its democracy! Sb
