This today's convention decision was made after the statement by Sobchak journalist, the daughter of Anatoly Sobcak, the reformist mayor of St. Petersburg in the early 1990s, and the mentor of Mr. Putin, that she aims to be nominated to be a candidate in the presidential election, held on March 18th next year.
Sobchak, 36, who sometimes speaks like Russia's Paris Hilton, for her presentations on real television shows, which have been conditioned as extremely contrary, has indicated that she wants her country's political system to make it more open and democratic.
She had angered several Kremlin supporters, saying the crime is legally part of Ukraine, despite having been annexed by Russia.
