Conference to be held under regional project POINTPULSE for empowering integrity and credibility in police in Western Balkan countries.
The main goal of the conference is to promote discussions about empowering police integrity, with particular emphasis on the challenges in preventing and fighting corruption in the Kosovo Police from relevant institutions.
The issues discussed are the performance of the Kosovo Police's internal control mechanisms for preventing police corruption; the measures that are undertaken by Kosovo Police against police corruption; the State Prosecutor's performance in order to fight police corruption; the perception of Kosovo's citizens concerning the danger of corruption in the Kosovo Police; and the contribution that civil society and media in Kosovo can give to empowering police integrity.
