The Constitutional Court in Pristina has announced today that the decision has been made that both indictees continue the detention measure until 27 January 2018.
Kurt's lawyer, Hediye Ademi, has deemed this to be an unfair decision.
“It's an unfair decision, wrong confirmation of the actual situation. There is no legal reason to continue detention”, Ademi said in a pronouncement for Incison.
So within the 24-hour legal deadline, the lawyer has warned of the complaint.
And she added that on December 29th, when the court hearing will be held, she hopes his client will be released.
On the 29th is the final word. I hope they will be released because they no longer have the basis to remain in detention at”, she added.
On the other hand, Caday-Bujupi lawyer Africa Salihu has already filed a complaint against continuing detention.
According to him, the Constitutional Court Act in Pristina is in full opposition to the actual situation and full disproportionship with the Criminal Procedure Code and the laws in force.
In this way, he has proposed that the complaint act be changed and on its defender, Caday-Buyup, be interrupted.
