Kosovo Government Information Office Director Halil Matoshi has hosted journalists from several media at a dinner for last note.
Despite the fact that Matos is no longer a journalist, following the decision to enter politics with Ramush Haradinaj's party, he still acts as the authority of Kosovo journalism, legalising on how journalists should behave.
Government official Matosh has urged journalists to criticise power, according to him, so as not to let it go wrong. But the truth is that the media have so far reported on dozens of mistakes and scandals of the government that Matoshi is part of, but these reports have only managed to change the course of this government's operation.
Even his chief Haradinaj had reacted sharply to a journalist at one point, publicly telling him he did not know English, even though Haradinaj was looking at the journalist for the first time at that conference.
Below you have a full post of Matosh on Facebook:
For Journalists and Beliefs
Good journalism did not express confidence.
The journalists would have to be the gentle gentleman of the guards of democracy and the Republic, to criticize the power that didn't make it wrong for me and not to get rid of me of the stigmatic policy according to the agendas of political parties and oligarchs and archaic and mindless nationalists...
However, their role in emanciating Kosovo society is irreplaceable!
I've given the whole century to this trade that is more art than knowledge!
