Another contingent of soldiers leaves for Kosovo

Even a contingent of Moldovan soldiers has left for Kosovo today. They will participate in the framework of KFOR's peacekeeping mission, alongside the US, Italian and Austrian military, writes Radiochisinau, Kavan Kosova follows.
41 Moldovan soldiers will remain in Kosovo for half a year. They will be part of joint mission patrols in surveillance services at the positions of the Multinational Group of Western Forces.
At the same time, infantry will maintain objects of particular importance, but also for research and clearing of land from explosive objects.
Moldova had sent its first peacekeeping contingent to Kosovo on March 8, 2014.
KFOR's operation is NATO-led under the United Nations mandate.
