Tax Administration General Director Sakip Imer has held today the media conference in which he presented the achievements that followed this year's January-November period, where he said the income trend has marked growth of 22.7m euros or 6.3 million euros more, if compared to the same period last year.
The main topics of this conference were the assessments of international reports from the IMF, KUNP and the European Commission, inflows of January 2017, services to taxpayers, prevention and combating the informal economy, the effects of the Law on Forgiveness of Debts, monitoring the Fate Games, disciplinary measures to ATK staff, taxing businesses, co-operation agreements, etc.
Imer before the media said the revenue trend has marked an increase of 22.7m euros, or 6.3 % more, if you compare it to the same period last year, where so far the revenues worth 381.9m euros or 91% of the plan have been estimated for this year.
According to an ATK communiqué, the increase in revenues is the result of raising the level of voluntary meeting of taxpayers, unspoiled work by tax administration officials, modernising tax services and increasing communication with taxpayers.
Besides, international reports, such as that of the International Monetary Fund, were introduced. U n The NDP and the European Commission, which have estimated that ATK is marking continued progress in realising strategic and operational goals. Also, with particular emphasis, the UNDP's latest report was talked about citizens' perception of the level of corruption in public institutions, in which ATK report out of 32.5% has scored a drop in corruption perception to 17.4%.
