They demanded quick and long-term solutions to the problem, while accusing competent authorities of not being sufficiently committed to resolving the issue. I protest against the government's ability to cope with air pollution. It's always said that measures are being taken and that ordinary citizens are accused, while the government is unable to deal with this problem to the weaker. And we managed to show our revolt against it. Our demand is that all Macedonia breathe fresh and qualitative air”.
The situation is alarming and urgent measures must be taken. 0:58 I personally think pollution comes from cars and should be in times when pollution is too high to stop driving cars, or become a couple at car regimes -- citizens complain.
We support urban inconsistencies, roadblocks, with the aim of improving the situation. At 4:00 we will initiate direct demand to all international institutions where “Medvili” is participants to help us with international support, governments and organs that really have the power to change this situation. 4:25 I consider that half of Macedonia is in a state of emergency, and I think both the Government and the Ministry of Education and Local Power take the job in their own hands -- says Dragi Zumijanac, Children's Embassy “Medjeshi”.
A small number of Albanian protesters were observed during today's protest, even though pollution tangos all without religious and national differences.
I prefer greater awareness to our Albanian side because we lack the culture of protest. The protest is general good, the protest is not political, so get up all protest because the air is everyone's. There's no nationalization”.
I appeal to all Albanians to come join the protests that this is for our own good, for the good of our city- appeal citizens.
The city of Skopje has been ranked the world's most polluted city for the past two days. During yesterday's day, the government outlined a series of measures described as urgent against air pollution, such as freeing chronic and elderly people from work until it is polluted air, cleaning daily roads, reducing road communication, etc. But all these measures, according to the Government's announcement, will apply only if during today's day and tomorrow air pollution measures will show pollution levels of over 200 miogram particles in cubic meters.
