September 5, 1999, brought him to Kosovo as responsible for coordinating refugee returns from Switzerland. He added that his wife lives in Germany, which he visits every six weeks. In Kosovo, he deals with the hotel, which he has in partnership with two Roma.

Andreas has declared that he is satisfied with working with the hotel, while adding that he does not own Kosovo. He has also talked about his impressions of Albanians, who are largely positive.

He has refused to talk politics, but adds he recognises a part of Albanian history.
