State prosecutor says he has not found war crimes evidence for Minister Ricalo

The Kosovo Special Prosecutor, reports the opinion that on the basis of media reports concerning the claim of some citizens from the neighbourhood “Dania” in Pristina, for being mistreated by Agriculture Minister Nenad Ricalo during the Kosovo war, the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has authorised the Kosovo Police to collect needed information.

Based on the outcome of the Kosovo Republic's preliminary special prosecutorial investigation, it has estimated that there is not enough evidence for the existence of war crimes criminal acts.

In the event of the eventual presentation of new evidence, the prosecution could open a new investigation.
