The SBASK has made an estimate of whether all Kosovo students would prefer to go to teaching all day long should also engage about 12,000 new educational frameworks, as well as the additional budget of around 66m euros annually.
The United Education, Science and Culture Union (SBASHK) has dismissed the possibility of organising entire-day teaching in Kosovo schools.
This union has estimated that ongoing experiments have damaged education in post-war Kosovo. The idea of Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi, for entire-day education in Kosovo to start from next year in schools where SBASK conditions exist, as well as a new and harmful experiment on the education system, writes away “Sound“.
The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, has told the paper that based on European countries' practices, the same teachers are not the same ones engaged during the daily teaching.
He says there are other educational and supporting frameworks that engage in afternoons with students.
“The SBASK reminds MAST and KKA that with teachers now in the education system, it cannot be considered applying such a whole day's learning, because they have their full standards, 20 hours of students and another 20 hours of education training for training and communication with students and parents, and therefore they cannot be obliged to work on this standard defined by law and contract”, he said.
