The news has confirmed the “Gazeta Blic” LDK candidate for mayor of this Jhafer Tahiri municipality, who has gone to the runoff with PDK candidate Ferit Idrizi. This LDK candidate, he says, has found interest in bringing change to this municipality, which the citizens of October 22nd elected would also appreciate.
“We have extended an invitation to Vetevendosje for co-operation and for change in Vushtrri, and so have the AKR and we are talking because the goal is to offer a change to the citizens of Vushtrri because they have voted for change. To the greatest extent, 70 percent of the votes are for change, so it's the job of all the local political leaders to make this change, so we're talking to them.”, he said.
Asked about the phase of negotiations and the time when they could concreteise them, Tahiri has not been able to talk about time.
“This is just phase one, now we're talking and we're going to see how we're going to confirm.”, he said, adding that they have yet to reach even the stage of discussions for determining the slogan of the three parties.
On November 19th, citizens of 19 municipalities will be able to vote again for their favourites. /Gazzeta Blic
