The terrible suffering experienced by the people of Bosnia never heals, but Ratko Mladic's life sentence is the comfort that thousands of innocent civilians who have been slaughtered for years. Europe cannot live its ideals for unity, freedom, and equality among peoples without establishing justice. And that is also true of the crimes committed to our people during the last war in Kosovo.
