“Bechtel Enka has been chosen to have been cheaper, more favourable. Even the Americans have offered us 300m euros' loans, with little interest in it. It was the best offer ever. They have not believed that in a small country like Kosovo, they will negotiate a contract for four months. This is the best contract possible. But there are people who have no information about it and who fuck it up. I'm proud of building this highway and what I've done with airport”.

“We have revolutionized the construction of roads in Kosovo. And this has kept many people at bay. I even had another project to create our own bank, which today would have had two or three billion euros. This project too has been halted. I was in charge of the woman's recovery in Turkey ten days, within that time they changed the Law on Public Enterprises, leaving it to the Ministry of Finance. So my idea of a bank of ours died”.
