This, according to them, has not tallied serious irregularities or contempt of election procedures that could harm the process or divert citizens' votes.
According to the DnV, their findings have been confirmed even during the acceptance of ballot boxes and proceedings regularly of the Data Matching and Results Units (QNR).
“Since there was a fair electoral process, we are surprised at the election panel's decision on Ances and Parashta (PZAP) to order a comprehensive recount in the municipality of Pristina and Prizren, as well as partial recount in the municipality of Dragas and Rahovec. Despite what some countries practice recounting in the event of a narrow margin of results, such a practice does not envision Kosovo's legislation. Not enough grounds could violate the integrity of the elections, which of all the acters was named among the best election processes in Kosovo. At the same time, we call on political subjects involved in the process to refrain from hate speech and contest the election process and also not put pressure on institutions responsible for managing and implementing decisions. On the other hand, political subjects sending their observers to the recount process will contribute to this process having transparency and legitimacy”, a communiqué of the DneV said.
