The collapse of Haradinaj's government can happen much faster than thought, as the parliamentary majority of this government is extremely low and does not become majority in the Kosovo Assembly.
The Vetevendosje movement has been declared ready to tear down the government, currently made up of 61 MPs.
MP from the Vetevendosje Movement, Rexhep Selimi, has explained that only a request for the collapse of the government would come from the Serbian List then would not do so.
Selimi has indicated that in the first round of local elections, he has no longer been satisfied with the outcome, until in the runoff he has said three municipalities have won.
“Normically that in the first round I personally have expected better results for self-rule over this year's preliminary elections for parliamentary level. Either way, we went to six municipalities in the runoff and what happened I think has been expected that in three municipalities where we have also been favourites have won the battle normally in three other municipalities has been slightly more problematic because of the outcome of the first round. Either way, I can say that was the most likely and positive outcome. For a genuine opposition motion to bring down the government comes no longer a “ex officio” vote because an opposition unable to vote for the government's collapse has no place in parliament”, deputy Selimi has said.
According to him, no matter when the motion for the government's collapse is initiated, their vote will be pro-hurt, unless a request came from the Serb List then Vetevendosje would not vote, otherwise any opposition party that makes the motion against the government vote, Selimi says it would delay the collapse of Haradinaj government.
Remember, the Haradinaj government for today is the least number in power because it does not have the majority and has only 60 deputies. This government does not make a majority because it is the same government in the opposition with only 60 MPs, just like the opposition. With 60 to 60 then, it has lost most, and if you lose most then you lose your legitimacy, but it has lost its legitimacy from the start. This government is under whose mercy the MP wants to rebel and seek a withdrawal of” has ended Rexhep Selimi from Vetevendosje.
