The terrified Witnesses have described the moment when a truck crashed into a number of bikers on a bicycle route, killing at least eight people during an alleged terrorist attack in New York City.
According to foreign media, a driver in a truck drove along a bicycle road in Manhattan before being shot by police and taken into custody.
Surfaces have been published showing bodies scattered along the road near the Hudson River with visible tire marks said to be visible on two of the victims.
All of this was the result of a truck that was involved in a separate accident near the World Trade Center.
And one of the witnesses, Tawhid Kabir, 20, said: “I thought it was Halloween's joke or something like that”.
I saw the gun and I realized it was serious”
Meanwhile, John Williams, 22, had arrived at the scene of the event 30 seconds after the attack.
He said he heard up to ten shots.
The front of the truck was damaged and the smoke came out of it”.
