Prime Minister Edi Rama has commended police for the mega-operation held in Vlora that led to the discovery of the base where Moses Habilaj and his gang housed narcotics.
Rama also welcomed the decision by State Police General Director Haki Chako, who dismissed all leaders in the Elbasan Police following their failure to intervene in the incident that took place in this city on 18 September.
In a response to the charges of Democrat leader Lulzim Basha, Rama says in a post on the social Facebook network, that the government will continue to crack down on criminal networks.
I welcome the removal of the entire chain of police command in Elbasan. Whoever's involved with the crime bag, and whoever dares to face eye-to-eye and tooth to tooth, has a place under the uniform of State Police martyrs”
Disgraceful “The Old Crebe Front's attempt to crash the State Police for the successful operation last night in Vlora, as part of the fight against the criminal network of heroes of the last 48 hours' political and media pot heroes. State police are doing all the right things, and every director and police worker should continue to do daily what he has been doing since the start of this new phase of war with crime, following Albania's cleanup of cannabis”, Rama writes.
This reaction comes after the prosecution said the operation was conducted after several months of investigation by the Rènda Crimes in co-operation with international authorities and intelligent services, not to mention police, which in the media and the opposition were said to be avoided and reported only at the last moment.
Rama speaks of his predecessors in the government, describing at the time as the <x0-cycrellic globe of the harmonic co-existence of power with the verine”.
Let them forget that they will stop us in this war, all those who continue to pick up Albanians for fools and aim at blocking our way to Albania we want with state, jobs, well-being. With the mandate of June 25th, we will do not only criminal networks, but also corruption as a whole, what none of these people are jumping up into today's political and media pot, has dared not even to think about, in the quarter-story globe of the co-existence of power with the scum, where this country remained without a state, without law, without justice. We're here and we'll see. Day after day”, Rama says
In his reaction to the title “t forget that we will be stopped by”, Rama does not say a word of the serious charge that Democrat leader Lulzim Basha made when he said former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri has wiretaps involving Rama in the Mafia clans.
Tahiri has been placed at the centre of the attack already after his name has appeared in the Italian prosecutor's file for the group of Moses Habilaj, a distant relative to Saimir Tahiri, and who has been arrested in the neighbouring state as head of the drug trafficking gang.
Last night in Vlora, meanwhile, police seized about 4 tonnes of cannabis at a residence in Babica, owned by his friend Armando Kocerrit, who was placed in handcuffs. While there, police also found a tire that Moses Habeelaj had with procuration as well as weapons.
