The last round of normalisation talks between Kosovo and Serbia was held on 1 February.
It was August 31st that made Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Serbia's Aleksandar Vuciq, with mediating senior EU representative Federica Moghrini, together in Brussels.
The purpose of this meeting was to exchange thoughts about continuing dialogue on normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations, with a focus on preparing the start of a new phase of dialogue, which the two presidents agreed to in July, writes Indexline.
Now almost nine months from February, Serbia's delegation has started preparations for the new phase of dialogue.
Serbia has warned that after the October 22nd local elections or farther by the end of the month, the task force for supporting internal dialogue on Kosovo will hold its first meeting.
According to Serbian media reports, after this meeting, it will be known when the dialogue begins formally and whose first calls for consultations will be made.
Unlike Serbia, such a step is not being discussed in the Kosovo Presidencys.
Bekim Colak, presidential staff chief Hashim Thaci, has told Indexline that Kosovo has nothing in common with Serbia's actions.
“Platform of the Republic of Kosovo for dialogue with Serbia, including dialogue strategy and tactics, has nothing in common with the actions made by Serbia”, Colak has said
