Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has asked Albanian President Ilir Meta, for Albania to increase the categories of Kosovo Albanians' equipment with Albania's passports, as a way to <x0 hecares” the siege that Europe has made to Kosovo, with the visa regime. The issue of not lifting visas for Kosovo from the European Union is really an uninhibited act, affecting, among other things, the prejudice that exists for the performance of Europe's newest state, significantly assisted and by the reasons Kosovo politics gives in this direction.
A country which 25 years ago moved freely without visas across Europe and the US, has no reason to re-assign a quarter of a century later, being the only country in Europe isolated from free movement. But this is another topic, which does not come from the solution President Thaci offers. Albania cannot break Kosovo's siege into Europe through an administrative gesture, such as equipping the Albanian passports of Kosovo citizens, even though they really need a lot. Albania is also a state with questionable performance in the eyes of Europe, but even if it were a model country, it could not be a solution for Kosovo. Albania and Kosovo, as two parts of a nation, but two separate states, should create chances of being dignified in the membership process and Europe not taking it as a gift, but as their standard. Equipment with Albanian passports of many Kosovo Albanians is a missignment, which can strengthen Europe's <x0ndardo” towards Kosovo and Albania.
It is apparently perceived as an archive, to Europe with a tool that Europe also owns, such as visa liberalisation for Albanians. The problem of Albanians is not how to use each other's priorities against Europe, or how to make it “fraudulent in this process, but how to convince the one who has taken the path to Europe seriously. On the other hand, Albania has a standard passport delivery procedure, which is consistent with European standards, and any vulnerability to these standards only makes Albania, a country further away from Europe.
A clause of this law dealing with passport equipment for personalities of other states has been misused so much by Ilir Meta's ancestors, how Bujar Nishani will be remembered only for the decorations and the passports for anyone who has known about “ ” what is personality. And guess how easy it is to do this before Nishan. Serbia, in turn, has used passport equipment of citizens of Serbian origin in Kosovo, not as a way to facilitate their travel to Europe, but as a way to make them feel secure in Kosovo, to reject its identity. This is a very unpleasant issue with the issue of Kosovo and Albania.
Serbia itself currently has better jobs than Albania and Kosovo in relation to Europe, and is a step ahead of them in the way it is speeding towards membership. Albania and Kosovo, it is good to follow this pace, rather than its nervous gestures against Kosovo, stemming from a whole black story of them to Albanians. The Kosovo problem is not how to lie to Europe and how to help Albania at this point. Kosovo's problem, including Albania, is how to convince itself that “Albanophobia” Berisha invented when in crisis with the West and his tore of” one nation, a passport”, is not a solution, nor an alibi for their failure on the road to Europe. It's just a signal we're not good at the West.
Kosovo's road to Europe does not pass from Albania. Kosovo's road to Albania runs from Europe. This should not be forgotten!
