The attack against journalist Vehbi Kajtazi was carried out by a family member of MP Milaim Zeka and former deputet Azem Syla.

Fitim Thaqi from the village of Lapusnik has been declared in international search by Kosovo authorities, after Friday he has physically attacked journalist Vehbi Kajtazi in downtown Pristina.

Thaci has ties and friendships with Milaim Zeka and Faton Ramadanin, for whom Inseder reported on the fraud scheme of 920 Kosovars with working visas in Germany. Milaim Zeka's aunt is married to striker Fitim Thaqi's uncle.

Meanwhile, Thaqi is the grandson of Azem Syla's family, reports Insander.

On the day of the attack, Fitim Thaqi has been drinking coffee with Faton Ramadani, Bekim Shytti and two other people. The attack is believed to be organised by Faton Ramadani and Milaim Zeka.

An informant has told the police that on October 4th, between 13th and 14th pm, Milaim Zeka, Faton Ramadani, Fitim Thaqi have discussed at the Central restaurant about the attack.

Since July last year, Milaim Zeka has launched a lynching campaign of hate speech against Inseder and media leaders Vehbi Kaitazi and Parim Oluri.

Zeka has lynched Olluler's Caitazi as an accomplice of Serbia and the Serbian Secret Service, thus spreading false claims that motivate attacks to physical liquidation.

Striker Fitim Thaqi has been associated with political figures including Kadri Veselin.
