International arrest warrants were immediately issued against them. Grujovski also hid with another identity, even that of a special unit police officer.
Goran Grujevski as former director of the Fifth Directorate for Security and Anti-Revelment was responsible for mass wiretapping at the order of their former chief Mijalkov. The Special Prosecutor stressed that this director has been responsible for monitoring communications, and, according to Special Procurity, it has detained officials, politicians, journalists, foreign diplomats and thousands of other citizens from 2008 to 2015.
Boskovski, who was charged with the same work, has also been on the run.
