Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj has said Serbia must recognise Kosovo, as this exceeds any process of advancing conflicts.
Hoxhaj via a Facebook post, stresses there can be no stability if Serbia continues to block Kosovo in the international arena.
The mutual notion is the only way of moving forward and overcoming conflicts, which, above all, should not be left to new generations”, Hoxhaj wrote.
His Facebook mailing:
17 years ago, Slobodan Milosevic's brutal regime collapsed, which became the source of many bloody conflicts in the Balkans and left behind many innocent victims.
But the outcome of this regime had a completely new reality as a climax and shaped the new Balkan map. Kosovo has expressed its commitment to normalising relations for the sake of stability and peace in the region, but on the other hand, Serbia has continued with “its devotion to Milosevic, refusing to accept responsibility for war crimes sponsored by the Serbian state against the civilian population not only in Kosovo, but also in other countries of the former Yugoslavia.
There can be no stable normalisation and peace in the region without justice for war crimes being imposed, and this requires maximum commitment of the Serbian state.
There can be no stability if Serbia continues to block Kosovo in the international arena. Common knowledge is the only way of moving forward and overcoming conflicts, which, above all, should not be left to new generations.
