During the first 9 months of this year, this port has exchanged more than 2.1 million tonnes of goods, totaling 63 different ports, from those of Mediterranean countries to those in the US, China or Brazil.
Italy and Russia occupy the first two countries, with 21% of the total volume of goods transported by ships through the port, followed by Turkey with 14% of exchanges respectively.
Next they list Malta with 7%, Greece with 6%, China and Egypt with 5% each, and then Spain, Germany, the US and Turkmenistan, reports TopChannel.
From Statistics Sector data to the port is taught that ships that were launched from Durres, or have arrived at the country's largest port, have fired or loaded various goods at 63 ports of 20 different countries, where Turkey leads with 16 ports and Italy with 12 ports.
