At the rally held in the Kalabria neighbourhood, except for the candidates for the Municipal Assembly, the Mayor Shpend Ahmeti spoke as well as the head of the Vetevendosje Movement Centre in Pristina, Ylli Hoxha.
Ahmeti in his case explained the vows coming out of our “Pristina programme, a city in every neighborhood”. Within these vows, there are new schools and resources for the Kalabria district, which will meet the needs of neighborhood dwellers in the sector. We've got the neighborhood priorities from you as residents. The new school, the new rent, the expansion of the lighting network, the opening of the road to the Qendreza neighbourhood, is just some of the projects that will be realised over the next four years in your neighbourhood”, Ahmeti said. Glad news for residents of the Kalabria neighbourhood was also the conclusion of the Mobile Plan, with whom Mayor Ahmeti announced that Calabria would already have a public transportation line, there will be regulated transportation within the neighbourhood, as well as parking space.
Ylli Hoxha, speaking of the great commitment of citizens and activists towards our next victory, said Shpend has already secured the second, even more powerful mandate than the first, with much more assemblies. In 2013 we had 16 thousand votes in Pristina, and in June 2017 V ENVENTION! There were more than 400,000 votes in Pristina. We came up with concrete vows four years ago, and we stood by the citizens. The same will happen with 100 pledges of the second term. All citizens of Kosovo, not only of Pristina, are already clear to our way of governing. Pristina will continue the route launched at the end of 2013, but this time it will join many other municipalities”, Hoxha said.
