Zelensky shares images from the meeting with Trump at the White House: Thank you.

The latter has published images of the meeting at the White House, which was closed to the media, reports BBC, broadcast Periscopi.

Zelensky has said he had a good meeting with Trump and that the two discussed the importance of Ukrainian protection and how the US can help Ukraine with missile defence systems.

“A good meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. Thank you for everything we do together to protect Ukrainian lives and to achieve peace. First of all, I expressed our condolences to President Trump about the death of Lindsay Graham. He was a true friend of Ukraine.” wrote Zelensky.

He has said that Trump has discussed licenses for producing interceptors for the Patriots and some other ideas that could help.

We also talked about diplomacy. It's important to activate diplomatic process. Our teams will coordinate their further communication details. I'm grateful to the United States for their strong support.
