Shpend Ahmeti sentenced to 2 years in prison and 5 thousand euros in fine

Ahmeti is accused of failing to declare financial means in many of the 54 thousand and 400 euros accepted by his mother's personal accounts and his 118 thousand euros. According to the Prosecutor, the total amount of undeclared means totals 172 thousand,600 euros.

The announcement of this act was made Friday, in 24.07.26 by Judge Leon Perlasca.

According to the Court, the two-year prison sentence will be executed after the completeness of this act, while the penalty of 5 thousand euros is charged to pay him in the three-month term after the full might of this act.

If the defendant does not wish or cannot pay a fine sentence, the Court may replace him with fines, with prison sentences where one day of imprisonment will be counted 20 euros in fines.

In addition, the Court has rejected the Special Prosecutor's Proposal for Confiscating the amount of undeclared means.

According to the indictment, accused Shpend Ahmeti was obliged to pay the expenses of the judicial wig in the amount of 100 euros, as well as the amount of 100 euros for the crime victims' fund.

Disgruntled parties against this act are entitled to complaint in the 30-day term at the Court of Appeals.

In the declaration of the indictment, he was not presensive to Shpend Ahmeti.
