ASS: Patates, trees and vegetables with the largest price increase in Kosovo

Farm prices in Kosovo have marked increases during the second quarter of 2026, compared to the same period last year.
Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has indicated that the overall price index of these products has increased 6.3 percent in the second quarter of this year, compared to the second quarter of 2025.
According to the AKS, the largest increase has been marked by plant products, whose prices have increased by 10 per cent on an annual basis. Meanwhile, the prices of livestock products have increased by 2.9 percent.
The AKS suggests that the index is based on the collection of prices of local agricultural products in markets, farms and other retail stations in Kosovo. The plant crop includes cereals, forger plants, vegetables, potatoes, and trees, while livestock products include the prices of cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, and milk, eggs, and honey. ASK has been saying that all prices are calculated in euros, while the measure units are kilograms, liter and pieces. /Kosovo priss
