Tragedy in Increase: Lost three-year-old life, suspected of being choked with a piece of meat

According to the official 24-hour Kosovo Police report, during yesterday's Ferizaj Emergency Day it has been reported that one victim, Kosovo's male, has been sent without life signs from the Emergency Development Centre.

Under the prosecutor's decision, the victim's lifeless body was sent to the Law Medicine Institute for Observation”, the police report said.

The Express newspaper, from its sources, has learned that the victim is a 3-year-old child who is suspected of being strangled by a piece of meat.

Family members have immediately offered their first aid and then rushed him to the EMS Centre. Doctors have managed to remove the meat from the respiratory pathways, but the child had arrived without a pulse and no signs of life.

He was later transferred to the Emergency Regional Hospital in Ferizaj, where medical teams have continued efforts to reanimate, but without success. At 7:40 he died.

At the order of the Prosecutor to Mitur, the lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine for Obligation.

Police have initiated the case as a “death failure”, while investigations into full whiteness of circumstances are under way.
