KEK case: Ymer Dragusha sentenced to two years in prison for misusing official position

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has convicted former KEK chief Ymer Dragush of four criminal acts of abuse of official office or authority in co-ordination, condemning him to a unique sentence of two years in prison.
Under the conviction proclaimed today, Dragusha for the first drop of the indictment has been sentenced to one year in prison, while for the other three points of eight months in prison each.
“Dycata, based on Article 76 of the Penal Code, the defendants pronounce the unique prison sentence in length of 2 (two) years, which sentence will be executed in the 15 days term from the day of the indomitability of this act”, was said during the proclamation of the bias, Kosovo Press reports.
Similarly, the Court has instructed the State Attorneyate to implement it in regular civil procedure.
By bias, Dragusha has also been obliged to pay the expenses of the criminal procedure, 100 euros on behalf of the judiciary and 100 euros in compensation fund for crime victims, respectively.
