Rama arrives in Ankara, meets with NATO chief

Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has arrived in Ankara, Turkey, to attend the NATO summit.
The head of the Albanian executive is expected to hold important meetings with leaders of various states under this summit, where key topics will be on security issues and challenges facing the north-Atlantic Alliance.
Shortly after his arrival, Rama has met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
This meeting has been held under summit works, where leaders of member states are discussing strengthening co-operation within NATO.
While in the Turkish capital, the Albanian prime minister is also expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdoğan.
Rama's participation in the summit follows Albania's commitment as a NATO member, with the focus of strengthening co-operation among allies and contributing to Euro-Atlantic security.
Summit NATO in Ankara is expected to focus on recent developments in the area of security, increased military co-operation and co-ordination of allied countries in the face of new international challenges. / Periscopi/
