Delay of results: V ITA seeks Special Prosecution and Police intervention for taking samples

The Vita Company has announced that on July 24th, 2026 has submitted its application to the Kosovo Police and Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, demanding that these institutions receive all parallel samples of Vita and Hola products, due to the delay of competent institutions in publishing the results of analysis.
According to the company, despite continued requests to the Food and Veterinary Agency (AUV), the results of tests have not yet been submitted. Vita also claims that during the 2 July 2026 inspection, there have been irregularities, stressing that a political adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture has been introduced as inspector, while the owner of a competitive company has also been present.
For this reason, the company says it has asked the Special Police and Prosecutors to take measures to prevent any possible manipulation with the results of samples taken by AUV for internal products “Vita” and “Holla”.
