(a day ago)Former head of the Central Election Commission, Valdete Daka, has described the delay in political processes for the establishment of new institutions in Kosovo as unreasonable.
Daka has said the country has lost much time due to repeat election processes and stalling political agreements.
“Anyway, this delay is unreasonable because Kosovo has lost nearly two years in these expectations and elections that are constantly repeating. Of course, every day is valid for Kosovo”, Daka has declared.
She has even commented on the term given by W. D Albulen Haxhiu, for dialogue among political parties, saying that no progress or approach has been seen so far.
No matter what. Haxhiu said he has given political parties time for dialogue, we are not seeing any dialogue or conclusion of any” agreement, she has indicated.
According to Daka, political parties' statements show no readiness for co-operation, citing the LDK and PDK's positions towards the possibility of an agreement with Vetevendosje Movement.
I don't see any reason why this time has been given, apart from the fact that the VV is buying out time”, Daka said.
It has estimated that procrastinating the political process is damaging the country's institutional functioning and interests.
