(2 hours ago)US Congressman Joe Wilson has called “disgusting” the statement by Serbian Minister Snezana Paunovic, who said days earlier that “would have ethnically cleansed Kosovo” if it were in Slobodan Milosevic's place in 1999.
According to the American congressional, the official's comments should serve as a reason for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to refuse Serbia's request for holding its annual meeting in 2027 in Belgrade.
These disgusting and stimulating statements by a leader of the Government of Serbia are precisely the reason why the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly should not consider Belgrade's candidacy to be host to the 2027<x1 session.
“O The SEU has been designed to build consensus in Europe, not to rekindle ethnic tensions”, Wilson wrote on X, where he also distributed an article in Paunovic's statements.
