Even an banned Kosovar from Serbia, Avdi Memcaj in custody since May 20th

Lawyer Arianan Koci, through a Facebook post, has announced that citizen Avdi Memcaj has been in custody in Serbia since 20 May, after being detained at the border checkpoint in Merdara.
According to Koci, Memcj is suspected of “inciting hatred through social networks”, while his family has contacted the lawyer by asking him to take over the protection of his rights.
Family members, according to Koci, have claimed that Memcaj has been living in Croatia for years, where they think he owns some bread ovens. They have clarified that the case has not been made public earlier because of fear of consequences for him and his family, as they often travel through Serbia towards Kosovo.
Koci has announced that he will review the case and undertake all legal actions allowed for protection of Memcaj's rights.
It has also raised concerns about similar cases of Kosovo citizens' bans during the transition through Serbia, citing reports of mobile phone control in some cases.
Koci has also called on citizens to report Kosovo institutions and seek judicial assistance if they face similar situations.
