114 motorcycles seized in Pristina region, measures on 535 drivers

Kosovo police have reportedly confiscated 114 motorcycles in the Pristina region.
According to the announcement, their seizure was made after the implementation of an operational road safety plan with a focus on motorcycles.
Also, according to rule forces, measures have been taken against 535 motorcycle drivers.
The Regional Director of Police in Pristina, the Capital Traffic Unit, respectively, based on recent estimates concerning the traffic security situation, has begun implementing an operational plan for increased control in communications.”, the report said.
According to the announcement, the plan is starting to be implemented at the beginning of July and is aimed at increasing the level of road safety, with particular emphasis on motorcycle drivers.
Order forces have indicated that this operation will extend to all roads in the Pristina region and will continue until it is estimated the desired effect has been achieved on improving traffic safety. /Perixopi/
