Trump tells Israel not to hit Lebanon: We're close to deal with Iran.

US President Donald Trump today called on Israel not to hit Lebanon, while the US and Iran are negotiating a memorandum of understanding for the war, CNN reports.
This morning's “Sulming of Beirut should not have happened since”, Trump wrote on the Social Trum, adding: “especially on a particular day when we are so close to a Peace Agreement with Iran”.
“Israel has the right to be protected from threats, but the attack he was responding to was very small and insignificant, no one was hurt, injured or killed, and this should not disrupt this important process”, the post follows. “We are very close to an agreement that will bring peace to the region, including Lebanon, and all sides must withdraw”.
The post came hours after Israel said it had hit Hezbollah's basons south of Beirut in response to the shootings to northern Israel earlier this day. Previous Israeli attacks on Beirut a week ago triggered an Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel, threatening to undermine US efforts to reach a ceasefire with Iran.
Israel carried out the attacks on Beirut for the last time a week ago, when Netanyah said: “We will not allow shots against our territory or our communities and we will act in accordance with this”.
Earlier this month, the US brokered a new ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, under which Israel pledged not to target Beirut if Hezbollah would not target Israeli civilians. Hezbollah rejected the new deal.
There should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon, but there should also be no more attacks by any other party, including Hezbollah, against Israel”, Trump wrote in his post. “This may be the beginning of a long and beautiful peace not to destroy it! ”
