In a statement to the media following the government's meeting, Ibrahimaj said the Albanian government is still in the study and design phase and is working with environmental architects and landscapes.
According to her, the government's goal is for this project to be realised as it is profitable and with the impact on tourism.
There is not yet a project to develop the Zvrneci area. We're working with environmental architects, we're still in study and design. The Albanian government does not have a final project to share with the public. The moment a proposal arrives, it must meet all environmental conditions. It is in our eyes that the project is approved to continue within EU parameters and become transparency for the public. We want a project of this funding project to come to Albania even for the impact it can have on the tourism sector by any standard.
