Police find goods smuggled into an uninhabited house in the year

Kosovo police have announced they have prevented a case of smuggling goods.

According to the announcement, following the acceptance of information that an uninhabited home in the municipality of the Year was sheltered for goods smuggled from the Republic of Northern Macedonia in the Republic of Kosovo on Sunday, has taken operational and investigative action.

On the basis of these actions, according to rule forces, have resulted in the discovery and sequencing of a considerable amount of smuggled goods.

In the case, relevant police units have identified the uninhabited house, which was allegedly used for hiding and storing smuggled goods, which are suspected to be introduced into the territory of the Republic of Kosovo through illegal routes from North Macedonia”, the report says.
