Resentment continues in LDK: Even the branch in Rahovec goes against Abdixhik

The branch of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) in Rahovec has called for holding general elections within the party, from the level of subs to the party's chairman, following the results of the June 7th 2026 elections.
Through a public announcement, the LDK branch in Rahovec has indicated that at the meeting held on 26 June, the election results were analysed at both the local and the level of the Republic of Kosovo.
Kosovo's Democratic Order, the branch in Rahovec, to the meeting held in 26.06.26, among other things, analysed the election outcome in the June 7th 2026 elections, both in the Rahovec municipality and at the level of the Republic of Kosovo”, the report said.
According to the LDK branch in Rahovec, the leadership has unanimously decided that the party should undergo a general election process, taking responsibility for the outcome achieved in the election.
“Unanimously of present Branch Headship members, decides that by taking responsibility for this election result, the Democratic League of Kosovo should enter the general electoral process, from sub-defect to LDK Chairman”, it is further said.
The LDK branch in Rahovec has estimated that its structures and activists' expectations have been for a better result in recent elections, viewing the outcome as insufficient.
“in the June 7th 2026 elections, branch receptions and activists were for a better LDK result. Given the poor electoral outcome in general and in particular in Rahovec, the LDK branch in Rahovec deems it necessary to hold elections at all level”, it says in response.
Under this political subject in Rahovec, only a comprehensive, statute and transparent process can guarantee strengthening the LDK.
This comprehensive, static and transparent process alone would ensure a strong LDK”, the announcement concludes.
