Senegal's World Representative may face internal divisions amid defaults, a vague situation with coaching and problems with basic food and camp conditions, while the African national aims to leave a mark on the tournament under way in North America.

Senegal is considered one of the leading powers of African football, along with Morocco, ranked 7th in the world.
