US, Iranian delegations arrive in Switzerland, talks expected to begin

Delegations of the United States of America and Iran have arrived in Switzerland, where talks on reaching an agreement to end the conflict between the two countries are expected to begin.
Direct talks between the US and Iran come just a day after the Iranian Army has declared it has again closed the Hormuz Strait due to Israeli attacks south of Lebanon.
Iran has also cited violating the US agreement to end the war as a reason for closing the strait.
However, the American Army has declared that “traficiu continues to pass” through the strait.
US and Iranian officials in the talks will join Pakistan's prime minister, Shephaz Sharif, and the chief of the country's armed forces, the Marshall of the Asim Munir field.
Pakistan has acted as a mediator throughout the war and has hosted an earlier round of negotiations between the US and Iran.
Vance has said he hoped to make progress “on the nuclear issue” and on “the ceasefire issue at Lebanon”.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has said his country would require that the other <x0-2pa fulfil its” commitments.
Earlier this week, US and Iranian presidents signed an initial agreement aimed at ending the war, including the conflict in Lebanon, with immediate effect.
The agreement included commitment to further talks aimed at reaching a final agreement within the next 60 days. /Periscope
