In an interview after the match, Zeneli stressed his strong ties to the two countries, stating it represents both Sweden and Kosovo in a personal and family respect.

I always represent Sweden and Kosovo. I am born in Sweden, but my parents come from Kosovo and every year we visit Kosovo”, he said.
