Costa launches diplomatic tour in six Western Balkan countries on Wednesday, visits Pristina

From today, European Council President Antonio Costa will launch a diplomatic tour of the six Western Balkan countries.

On the first day of his visit, he will stop in Sarajevo, where he will meet with the institutional leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

However, on June 2nd, he will be in Tirana for meetings with top Albanian state leaders and students of the Tirana College of Europe campus. That same day, Costa will travel to Skopje.

While on 3 June, the president of the European Council will visit Pristina, where he will hold meetings with institutional leaders and political party leaders.


Afterwards, he will visit Serbia and Montenegro, with cerrast on June 5th, Costa will participate in the EU-Western Balkans summit to be held in Tivat.

The central theme of this summit will be the “Prosperity and common stability of the European Union and the Western Balkans”.

This summit was last held in Tirana. /Periscope
